Find Inspiration in Artwork

Asian Style Bedroom

Sometimes a beautiful piece of artwork can inspire a bedroom design. It can help you plan out your bedroom color scheme, style, bedding, accent pillows, rugs, and furniture selections.

A great example of using inspiration through artwork is in this Asian style bedroom for The Upward Bound House in Marina Del Rey, Calif. (a half-way house for mothers and children before they get put into permanent housing), designed by Elizabeth Bomberger, Vivre Interior, who was inspired by these gorgeous Oriental wall panels. Elizabeth found these wall panels at a Long Beach Flea Market for $30, which inspired the color scheme, furniture, and other accents. Regardless if you are a professional like Elizabeth or on a limited budget, you can always find great buys and ideas if you're patient, creative, and persistent.

"I believe that just because you're on a tight budget, doesn't mean you can't create something exotic and luxurious....just need a little creativity!" - Elizabeth Bomberger, Vivre Interior.
