Dont Forget About the Bedroom Closet

When designing a bedroom sometimes closet doors and closet space is overlooked in the process. This large canvas should not be forgotten or become an afterthought in any bedroom remodel; instead, add character and charm by using these great ideas and tips.

  • Find alternative closet solutions, such as wardrobes, decorative storage units, or armoires; by incorporating these pieces of furniture you can open up your closet space and provide additional room for a small work area, home office, craft station, book nook, or more.
  • Replace your closet doors or consider other decorative solutions. It may be time to take out those old, rickety sliding closet doors and replace them. If you prefer to keep your closet doors but want to give them a new look, apply a fresh coat of paint, add new hardware, or wallpaper your closet door.
